Poetry

Passing by

Passing by formalities

roses, lilies, box hedges

furnishing futures

I leave order

for clover

ground lengthening

to muffled sound

a hill, wood, half-buried house

random as forgetfulness

swallows upend horizontals

in slow sky

skim the summer void

we chance upon this place

about to leave a presence

no one else will know

Tulip

                 I

My mood is tulip

when I open to heat

lean without shame

to the sun

show my core of star

filaments of gold

to a moment

shot silk

which seeds my soul

                II

Bear with me

when limbs

bend awkwardly

points as pollen

fret my skin

when I sculpt

pale visions

and with abandon

loosen my beings,

one by one
